They probably want to send everything at once to keep shipping costs down. As for waiting on the couplers, thats out of their control. Perhaps they would have informed you that they didn't have them in stock if you had mentioned that it was something you needed ASAP.
Generally when I order from them, its through their site and I usually get a confirmation e-mail immediately and another one once the item has been shipped with the routing number by request.
This is the first and only negative thing I have heard about them. They are a very good company to deal with.
